Swanepoel names five PAR members to POWER200 list
Each year, Swanepoel releases its POWER 200, a list of the leaders in the real estate industry from across the country.
PAR would like to extend congratulations to five members who were recognized by Swanepoel as leaders of the real estate industry.
16. Howard “Hoddy” Hanna III and Helen Hanna Casey, Pittsburgh. The siblings run Howard Hanna real estate, which was founded in 1957 and is now one of the largest residential real estate businesses in the country, with more than 170 offices and 6,200 agents. Howard serves as chairman and CEO and Helen serves as president. The company spans more than 170 offices and over 6,200 agents.
48. Larry Flick, Philadelphia. With 50 years in the real estate industry, Flick has used his experience to expand Fox and Roach into one of the most successful real estate brokerages. As chairman and CEO, Flick continued to grow the company by 40 mergers and acquisitions. The company became part of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices in 2013, and changed to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox and Roach.
107. Joan Docktor, Philadelphia. The president of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox and Roach, Docktor began with the company as a real estate sales associate in 1986. Since then, she has proven to be a valuable asset, especially with growing the company to more than 60 offices and 4,000 sales associates.
154. Doug Rebert, Lancaster. The managing director of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices HomeSale Realty, formerly Prudential Homesale, oversees the 28 offices and more than 1,100 agents throughout Pennsylvania and Maryland. The realty averages over $2.5 billion in annual sales.
And we have to mention three non-PAR members recognized by Swanepoel who have had an impact on the industry in our state.
49. David Charron. Charron is the CEO and president of MRIS systems, one of the nation’s largest MLS systems, which is responsible for nearly $100 billion in real estate transactions each year. MRIS supports more than 43,000 real estate professionals spanning the Mid-Atlantic region.
62. Maureen Passerini. Passerini serves as the executive vice president of the Eastern Seaboard and Northeast Regions of NRT. She manages the company’s eight Coldwell Banker branded operations, as well as the NRT’s ERA branded operation in Harrisburg. She is responsible for the strategic initiatives of more than 200 offices and more than 12,000 sales associates.
171. Thomas Phillips. Phillips is the CEO of Trend MLS. More than 28,000 real estate professionals in the Philadelphia region use Trend MLS, which houses more than five million public records and aids in the sale of more than 80,000 properties each year.
Also, congratulations to NAR’s CEO Dale Stinton for landing at number six, NAR’s lobbyist Jerry Giovaniello for coming in at 38, and NAR’s 2015 President Chris Polychron for coming in at 51.
