Realtor® associations sponsor variety of charitable events
Local Realtor® associations found creative ways to raise money for charitable organizations during PAR’s fifth annual PAR Realtors® Reach Out Month in October.
Nearly 1,200 members from 23 local associations took part in auctions, held food and clothing drives, sponsored dinners, ran office Olympics, held coin collections, and worked for Habitat for Humanity in communities across the Commonwealth. They raised nearly $31,700 and collected more than 610 pounds of food and 1,000 pounds of clothing.
“Our members are truly inspiring in the ways they lent a helping hand to make an impact in their communities,” said Dave Phillips, CEO of PAR. “Realtors® give generously throughout the year but Realtors® Reach Out is a way for us to join together to assist organizations and raise awareness.”
