It’s no surprise that the Realtor® party is powerful. Together, with our local, state and national associations, we work to protect and promote homeownership and property investment. The Realtor® Party speaks with one voice to advance candidates and public policies that really help create a vibrant business environment.
So many of us see our local municipalities, the state legislature and Congress make decisions that have a huge impact on our industry – both how we do business and our consumers.
That’s why it’s so important to become active with the Realtor® Party!
The easiest way to become active is to sign up to receive Realtor® Party Mobile alerts on your cell phone. That means when the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) issues a call for action, you get an immediate text message alert and you can quickly respond.
Last year, NAR saw a great response to Calls for Action. Twenty-five percent of Pennsylvania Realtors® responded to the national calls to action. Receiving text alerts makes it even easier for you to respond to issues that truly affect how you do business. NAR has set a goal of having just 11 percent of PAR’s members receiving texts alerts and currently a little more than 2,000 Pennsylvania Realtors® are signed up. Help us surpass our goal and sign up today by texting REALTORS to 30644!
I’d love to see every Pennsylvania Realtor® receiving their Calls for Action alerts on their phones and immediately responding to their elected officials. This concerted effort makes the most of our grassroots strength and makes a huge impact in Washington.
Don’t forget to share these Calls for Action on social media too. It’s a useful tool to help educate fellow members and clients about issues that affect homeownership.
In order to be effective and make our collective voice heard, we all have to be involved, we all have to be engaged and we all have to be active!
