Have you earned your badges from NAR’s Commitment to Excellence Program?
NAR’s C2EX program, also known as C2EX, is a new benefit available to all members. It’s not a designation or a certification. The goal of this online program is to take professionalism to the next level and ensure members are providing the best possible service to consumers and one another. It’s built around competency areas ranging from data privacy, customer service, code of ethics, advocacy and technology.
“I thought the class was a great experience. There was a lot of good content and information to benefit my business. I encourage my fellow colleagues to complete this education and task requirements to get more involved. This overall was a great opportunity and I am thankful for the experience,” said Julie Seabock, owner and broker of Clear Choice Enterprises in Butler.
When you log onto the platform for the first time, you’ll be prompted to take an assessment to determine proficiency levels in each of the competencies. Based on your assessment’s results, the C2EX platform generates customized learning paths and provides tools/resources to increase your knowledge and skill set. You’ll earn “excellence badges” as you progress through the 10 competencies and conclude with NAR’s official Commitment to Excellence endorsement.
“Through C2EX, I learned what I didn’t know; I thought I knew a lot more than I did,” said Realtor® Elle Hale with Century 21 in York . “I would encourage more people to take it because it’s a lot of really good information, especially for newer agents. I think the way it is made is great. You can do a module at your pace. I finished in one month because I just did it in little chunks. I think everyone should do it, from new agents to experienced. It’s really helpful, beneficial and fun. I loved getting the badges.”
No two Realtors® will have the same experience. The program offers a completely customized path toward success by factoring in each individual’s preexisting level of skill and knowledge.
“The C2EX course was very easy to finish and very informative as well. It offered a great combination of information about technology use in our business, the importance of customer service and quick reminders about professionalism and ethics for dealing with the public and other Realtors®. I enjoyed the review of such important information in a concise manner, easy to use program. This should be on everyone’s list to complete this year,” said Maryellen O’Brien with Keller Williams Real Estate in Doylestown.
Linda Walters, broker and owner of Sage Realty in Wayne, added: “The C2EX course was very enlightening to me because it covered such a broad variety of issues that we face and gave me great resources to deepen my knowledge in each of these areas. Whoever prepared the course thought a great deal about what we need to do our job right. ”
NAR was recently selected as a 2019 Learning! 100 Award Winner for C2EX. The prestigious award is given to 50 elite public- and private-sector organizations for excellence in learning innovation, collaboration and business performance.
