New Year’s Resolutions from PAR’s Leadership
With 2023 around the corner, perhaps you are saying, “New year, new me.”
Whether you are planning on totally revamping yourself or you’re just planning to adopt little changes, 2023 is an opportunity for some resolutions. What are your resolutions? PAR’s Leadership Team recently shared what they hope to accomplish in 2023.
For PAR President Christopher Beadling, he said he spent the end of the year traveling with several association installations and Triple Play, so he is looking forward to catching up on some work in the new year as past president. “I’m also looking forward to having greater control over what I eat in 2023,” he added.
Meanwhile, PAR’s President-elect Al Perry said he plans to keep a journal of five things he is grateful for each day. He is also planning to have at least one date night per week with his wife, as well as do something fun and physically active with his kids every week. No surprise to those who know him, Perry said he will get in an hour of fitness before 7 a.m. every day. As for business, he has a goal of adding five people to his customer relationship management system every day.
Bill Lublin, PAR’s treasurer, said, “I resolve to be committed to helping people understand the market and not panic. I resolve to remember that we have the most awesome staff supporting our association on every level, and to make sure they get recognized for helping us to help others. I will make every effort to thank every service provider in every business from the cleaners to the wait staff, to the bell persons and to let them know how much I appreciate how they help make our lives better.”
Lublin added, “I also resolve to refrain from criticizing people who think that white chocolate is actually chocolate. It’s really not, it’s carob.”
