Macungie, Pennsylvania, located in the Allentown metro area, was named Realtor.com’s 10th Hottest ZIP code of 2024.
To find the hottest ZIP codes, Realtor.com analyzed the housing market supply and demand from January to June 2023. Their economic research team also assessed the number of views each listing received and the speed at which homes were sold. The analysis was limited to one ZIP code per metro area.
The hottest ZIP codes for 2024 were in the Midwest and Northeast, with Massachusetts taking three of the top 10 spots.
At No. 10, Macungie (ZIP code: 18062) has a median home list price of $462,000. The suburb is located about 10 miles south of Allentown and has various parks and attractions.
“Macungie’s growing appeal is a testament to its vibrant community, excellent opportunities for education and proximity to key Lehigh Valley amenities, making it a prime destination for homebuyers,” says Greater Lehigh Valley Realtors® President-elect Michael Bernadyn. “The demand for homes in this area has continued to surge, and it’s no surprise that Macungie was named to Realtor.com’s Hottest ZIPs for 2024.”
