About the Fair Housing Training Requirement
Starting in 2025, Realtors® must complete two hours of fair housing training every three years. The NAR Board of Directors approved the new requirement at its May 11 meeting. The three-year cycle coincides with the existing Code of Ethics training requirement.
IMPORTANT: Courses must be completed after Jan. 1, 2025, to satisfy the requirement.
Courses like At Home With Diversity and Bias Override: Overcoming Barriers to Fair Housing will satisfy this requirement if completed after Jan. 1, 2025. Realtors® can also complete an approved course through a real estate school to satisfy this training requirement.
