Dave Legaz, a Realtor®, retired New York Police Department sergeant, safety author, 2021 NYSAR president and the inaugural 2020 NAR Realtor® Safety Advisory Committee chair, will share valuable insights on minimizing the risk of real estate professionals becoming targets of predators. Legaz will discuss various predatory behaviors and steps agents can take to reduce the likelihood of getting into an unsafe situation while on the job.
Legaz combines his two decades of law enforcement experience with over 25 years of real estate practice to teach real estate professionals how to reduce their risk of being targeted by predators. He authored a book on agent safety, “Safe Selling: A Practical Guide for Preventing Crime without Sacrificing the Sale.”
