Al Perry Inaugurated as 2023 PAR President
Philadelphia Realtor® Al Perry was installed as the 100th president of the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors® at the Sunoco Performance Theater, Whitaker Center, in Harrisburg last night. Former Philadelphia City Councilman and Greater Philadelphia Association of Realtors® Past President Allan Domb issued the oath of office.
A second-generation Realtor®, Perry is the managing partner of Century 21 Advantage Gold, Pennsylvania’s largest Century 21 firm, and has worked in the industry for more than 26 years.
He has served as a PAR district vice president and has been a member of PAR’s board of directors for many years and served on numerous committees. Perry served two terms as president of the Greater Philadelphia Association of Realtors®. He received multiple Distinguished Service and Realtor® of the Year awards from GPAR.
“No two clients have the same story and successful Realtors® are wizards at building trust and getting people to open up about their story. Realtors® do it naturally because we care,” 2023 PAR President Al Perry said.
“Realtors® are kind and compassionate. Realtors® are incredibly hard working and diligent. Realtors® are problem solvers. ‘That’s Who We R’,” he added.
PAR’s 2022 President Chris Beadling was recognized for his service and gave some parting remarks summarizing his year as president, highlighting Realtor® Day on the Hill.
“The Realtor® Day on the Hill event was an amazing success and was the impetus for finally achieving one of PAR’s long-held goals… the recognition of the 1031 like-kind exchanges here in the commonwealth,” he said. “All of PAR’s legislative victories in 2022, private roadway maintenance relief, virtual real estate education and 1031s, without a doubt were a return to even better and we have many of you to thank.”
During last night’s ceremonies, former Pennsylvania Real Estate Commissioner and one of Perry’s real estate partners Anne Rubin installed: President-elect Preston Moore, from the Realtors® Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh; First Vice President Bill Lublin, from the Bucks County Association; and Treasurer David Dean, from the Realtors® Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh. Chris Beadling, from the Bucks County Association, will serve as the immediate past president.
Rubin also installed PAR’s district vice presidents: District 1, Stephanie Biello of the Greater Philadelphia Association; District 2, Brian Slater of the Tri-County Suburban Realtors®; District 3, Janet Tarity of the Bucks County Association; District 4, Alexa Sanchez of the Pocono Mountains Association; District 5, Sherrie Miller of the Pike/Wayne Association; District 6, Jodi Diego of the Greater Harrisburg Association; District 7, Kevin Hodrick of the West Branch Valley Association; District 8, Quenna Smith of the Cambria Somerset Association; District 9, Mark Kibbe of the Greater Erie Board; and District 10, Jim Jarrett of the Realtors® Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh.
