Christopher S. Beadling Installed as 2022 PAR President

Bucks County Realtor® Christopher S. Beadling was installed as 2022 president of the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors® during a ceremony in Harrisburg yesterday. Rep. Todd Polinchock (Bucks), a past PAR president, gave the oath of office to Beadling. His daughter Melissa led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Beadling is the vice president and broker of record for Quinn & Wilson, Inc. Realtors® in Montgomery County and has been a Realtor® for 20 years.

“What inspires me is that most of us are here this evening thanks to the work of scientists and physicians who developed, tested and mass-produced a vaccine faster than has ever been done in human history. Because of their work and the thousands of front-line heroes who got the vaccine in our arms, we are now here in this new room that is teeming with new energy and new ideas,” said Beadling. “Over the last 24 months, PAR did its best not to slow down either. And while I will never compare the work we did to vaccine discovery, we were able to create new member benefits, introduce new laws and launch a new brand. That’s great stuff.”

Beadling said he hopes to build a stronger relationship with the Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs and the State Real Estate Commission, as well as encourage more PAR members to get involved in the association.

“We will continue to build a governance structure that looks more like our membership and a membership that looks more like America,” he added. “We’ll keep moving forward, led by the ideals of task conflict over personality conflict, and I will ask for everyone’s help. Let’s ‘Return to Even Better’.”

Beadling closed his speech asking members to get ready to go to work.

2021 PAR President Christopher Raad highlighted some of PAR’s accomplishments from last year, including implementing zipForms as a member benefit, moving forward with a more nimble governance structure, expanding PAR’s Legal Hotline and providing timely webinars and programs.

“The focus of real estate is building relationships and trust, not the sale,” he said. “Our industry thrives because of relationships, between ourselves and our clients, between ourselves and title, mortgage and inspections companies, but most importantly, because of the special relationship between ourselves as Realtors® within the industry.”

Raad also recognized his father, George Raad, a Realtor® for more than 50 years, who recently passed away. “He was a true advocate for our industry and a genuine leader by the example of what can be accomplished as a team for the greater good of our industry.”

2021 NAR President Charlie Oppler installed PAR officers: Al Perry as president-elect, Preston Moore as first vice president and Bill Lublin as treasurer. District vice presidents Heather Petrone-Shook (District 1), Brian Slater (District 2), Kevin McPheeters (District 3), Alexa Sanchez (District 4), Sherrie Miller (District 5), Jodi Diego (District 6), Dot Rhone (District 7), Quenna Smith (District 8), Joe Carofino (District 9) and David Dean (District 10) also were sworn in.
