Holiday gift suggestions for clients from your fellow agents

In addition to all the hustle and bustle of getting yourself and your family ready for the holidays, what about gifts for your clients?

You want to give them something memorable and something that makes you stand out from the rest, and reminds them that as their Realtor®, you are still thinking of them. While gift cards and bottles of wine are generally appreciated across generations, some of your local Pennsylvania Realtors® have gave some creative gift giving to remind clients that they still care.

Sandra Martinez-Larkins of Long and Foster Real Estate in Lafayette Hill said she makes homemade Puerto Rican Eggnog and stores it in a glittery bottle that she decorates for her clients for “that special touch,” she said. “It’s something simple to remind them I still think of them even after the transaction.”

In Mount Bethel, Realtor® Tiffany Hayward of Country Classic Real Estate said she has given clients wreaths for their homes in the past. It helps to celebrate the holidays and is a touch of decor for their homes.

Meanwhile, PAR’s own President-elect Todd Umbenhauer slaves away in the kitchen. He said some years he delivered homemade, decorated, chocolate-covered pretzels to clients. These tasty treats “seemed to go over very well,” he reported.

Realtor® Anette Handley of Harrisburg loves to sketch, she said. Her idea is putting her talent to use. She suggested sketching, or hiring someone to sketch, a drawing of her clients’ new homes, framing and engraving it with the family’s name and settlement date and handing that out as holiday gifts.

What do you gift your clients for the holidays?
