Association’s new CEO joins staff today

Michael J. McGee begins today as the new chief executive officer of the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors®.

McGee joins the association with more than 25 years of association management experience. He most recently served as the executive director of both the Riverfront Alliance of Delaware County and the Pennsylvania Developers’ Council.

“We’re thrilled to have someone of Mike’s caliber take up the helm at PAR,” said PAR President Kathy McQuilkin. “We think he’ll be a tremendous asset to our organization.”

He brings in depth knowledge of real estate to the post, having also worked as the executive vice president of the Homebuilders Association of Chester and Delaware Counties and the president and CEO of the Realtors® Legislative Alliance in Malvern. He began his professional career working in PAR’s public policy department from 1991 to 1997.

“I have a long history with the Realtor® organization, so I’m very familiar with PAR’s excellent reputation and efforts on behalf of its 30,000 members and property owners throughout the commonwealth,” McGee said. “I have a passion for real estate issues and our members and look forward to traveling across the state to visit local associations and the opportunity to work together on future issues.”

McGee is a graduate of Millersville University with a bachelor of arts degree in political science. He also earned the Certified Association Executive designation from the American Society of Association Executives and the Realtor® Certified Executive from the National Association of Realtors®.
