Realtors® raise $23,000 for charities in October
Charity auctions, food and clothing collections, blood drives and flood clean-up activities were just some of the events sponsored by Realtor® associations across the state as part of PAR’s fourth annual Realtors® Reach Out Month in October.
Nearly 700 Realtors® volunteered their time in local community activities, raising more than $23,000 for worthy causes. In addition, Realtors® donated more than 3,000 pounds of food, 1,170 pieces of clothing and 53 pints of blood.
“It’s inspiring to see Realtors® as they lend a hand to help others in their neighborhoods,” said Dave Phillips, CEO of PAR. “Local associations have found creative, exciting ways to make a difference in their communities.”
Associations that reported activities include: Beaver County, Bucks County, Cambria-Somerset, Fayette, Greater Harrisburg, Greater Philadelphia, Pike/Wayne, Pittsburgh, Reading-Berks, Schuylkill County, York and Adams Counties and PAR.
